2. How We Use Your Information

3. Age & Identity Verification

Age and identity verification for FAN-X is performed by our verification partner VerifyMy. Where the verification is privacy-preserving, FAN-X receives only a minimal claim (for example age_verified = true) and does not retain your raw identity documents. Jurisdictions we age-gate include: US.

Service providers — payment processors, hosting, and other vendors who help operate the platform, under contract
Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We never sell your personal data for marketing or advertising.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA and similar), you may:

Access — receive a copy of your data (within 30–45 days)
Deletion — request erasure, subject to legal retention requirements (within 30–45 days)
Correction — fix inaccurate data
Portability — export your data in a portable format
Opt-out — stop the sale or sharing of your data (we do not sell)

If a breach affects your data we follow our incident-response process and notify regulators within 72 hours where GDPR applies, and consumers as required by applicable law.

7. Data Retention

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. § 2257 age-verification records are retained for the federally mandated period (minimum 7 years) even after content is removed.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be processed outside your country. We use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses and data-processing agreements with our providers.
